1. Say So – Doja Cat ft. Nicki Minaj

On Friday, Doja Cat dropped an unexpected remix to her Top 5 hit ‘Say So’ featuring hip-hop Queen Nicki Minaj. Upon its release, fans speculated Minaj was taking aim at gossip queen Wendy Williams in her fiery lyrics.

Why you talkin’ ’bout who body fake?

With all them fillers in your face, you just full of hate

That real ass ain’t keep your nigga home

Now you lookin’ silly, that’s word to silicone

In an Instagram post, Nicki denied the lyrics were aimed at Williams.

As previously reported, the Houston natives delivered the collaboration many of us have dreamed of. The proceeds from the track will be donated to Bread of Life, a homeless charity in Houston supporting COVID-19 relief efforts.

3. Good To Know – Jojo (Album)

On Friday, Jojo released her much anticipated 4th album, Good To Know. The album came four years after her last project, Mad Love, and several years after legal issues with her former label that prevented her from releasing new music. The legal struggles also meant that the singer’s first two albums, JoJo (2004) and The High Road (2006) were not available on streaming or digital platforms.

In 2018, JoJo launched her new imprint, Clover Music, a joint venture with Warner Records. She later gifted fans re-recorded versions of her first two albums, made available for digital download and streaming. Her latest album comes at the end of a long battle for ownership of her music.

The latest single from Kehlani’s upcoming album, ‘It Was Good Till It Wasn’t’, was released this week and debuted with a spicy video.

5. Baby Mama – Brandy ft. Chance The Rapper

Vocal beast Brandy is back with her latest single, Baby Mama, which was inspired by her daughter. The video for the single shows the singer giving a tightly choreographed routine and features an appearance from Chance the Rapper.

The hip-hop titan dropped what seemed to be his annual mixtape to satisfy fans’ appetite for his new album. The project features the #1 single ‘Toosie Slide’, which upon release became a viral hit on TikTok.

8. Charmbracelet – Mariah Carey (Album)

Mariah Carey’s 2002 album, Charmbraclet made its way into the Top 5 albums on iTunes thanks to a price slash and a push from fans. This comes after the singer’s 2008 album, E=MC2, reached number 1 on the charts last week.

The album served as the precursor to the star’s 2005 comeback album, The Emancipation of Mimi.

9. Glory – Britney Spears (Album)

Britney Spears’ 9th album, Glory found its way back at the top of the iTunes chart, four years after it was released. The singer celebrated on Instagram, thanking fans for their support.
