In an Instagram post on Thursday, singer Lana Del Rey complained about accusations that her music glorified abuse. In the post, she singled out several artists of color including Doja Cat, Cardi B, Beyonce and Nicki Minaj for making songs about “being sexy, wearing no clothes, fucking, cheating, etc.” and being praised for it.

“Can I please go back to singing about being embodied, feeling beautiful by being in love even if the relationship is not perfect, or dancing for money,” she wrote. “without being crucified or saying that I’m glamorizing abuse??????”

Many on social media were quick to point out that the singer singled out almost exclusively women of color and that her references to paving the way for musicians like Beyonce were laughable.

In response to the backlash, Lana Del Rey commented on her original post.

A few hours later, she posted a GIF of her on Instagram with the caption #fuckoff.
