Houston, we have hit!!

On Wednesday, Megan Thee Stallion released a remix of her hit single “Savage”, featuring Beyoncé. The song came as a pleasant surprise for fans, who have long been anticipating a collaboration between the two Houston natives.

The remix pays tribute to the duo’s hometown. Beyoncé’s added “chopped and screwed” vocals give nod to the Houston rap culture. The star also gave a shout out to TikTok, OnlyFans, and her mom Tina. Meanwhile, Megan delivered some new rhymes and bars.

In an Instagram post, Meg expressed her excitement over the collaboration and gratitude for Beyoncé. The rapper also announced that all artist proceeds from the song would go to Bread of Life, a local organization helping to feed Houston’s homeless population as COVID-19 rages on.

‘Savage’ has achieved viral success on social media with celebrities and fans across the world partaking in the #savagechallenge. Thanks to TikTok, ‘Savage’ has become one of Meg’s biggest hits and currently ranks at number 14 on Billboard’s Hot 100. The remix will likely extend the song’s success as fans scramble to learn the lyrics Queen Bey laid down to represent H-Town.
